Shadow Yoga is drawn from the teachings of the ancient Hatha Yoga texts. It cultivates the physical strength and mental responsiveness for the practices they describe.

The three preludes, Balakrama (stepping to strength), Chaya Yoddha Sancalanam (Churning the Shadow Warrior) and Kartikkeya Mandalam (Garland of Light) are the starting point on this journey.  They develop strength, resilience, and flexibility and introduce the first steps of coordinating movement and breath.

The Nrtta Sadhana practices refine coordination, awareness and rhythm. They provide the keys to the more internal practices of Hatha Yoga.

With practices suitable for all levels including complete beginners, Shadow Yoga provides a clear step by step approach to this ancient discipline.
